I just got a picture/text message from my babygirl (aka Daddy)

6 months yesterday!

Our babygirl is 6 months already! Holy cow - time is flying by. Here her daddy is feeding her... belly hanging out and totally ready for beddie-boo time. Please don't mind her "diaper balls" it looks funny from her pajama seams :o)

Drool. Drool. Drool.

Oh how our Charlee-bear has grown! She'll be 6 months on Monday! She's got two teeth (bottom), is pushing up/off to try to crawl and is sitting up on her own (with mom and dad close by ;o)) I think sitting up and the affect of gravity has made her cheeks even more plump than before! ha!

We enjoying every second with her. Today she made fart noises in the backseat the whole way home from dinner -- to which Brady and I participated... I remember thinking, if anyone saw us, we would look like we had serious problems. Both blowing fart noises out of our mouths so hard and loud that we have to wipe the drool from our chins!

I think the real fun with her is starting -- she's super interactive and responsive to her name, sounds and stuff.

Charlee, I hope one day they have a way to import blogs into baby books because I'm much better at electronically keeping track of your life moments online rather than in your baby book - please forgive me. We are SO in love you you little booger.

Weekends with Marley!

What an awesome weekend! The weather was gorgeous and we saw a lot of friends and family! Auntie Laura was in town and watched Charlee on Friday, we shopped with Cassie and Brodie, then Saturday we were at my mom's until the afternoon, then went to Brady's parents house... cooked out, went for walks, played in the yard, had a nice Father's Day blah blah blah, the list goes on! Overall, a great weekend with my awesome husband and sweet babygirl! xxoo

Biography

Hi! My name is Charlee Rae O'Leary! I am 24 weeks old. My eyes are gray-blue, brownish, greenish... a kaleidoscope of color! Last we checked, i weighed 14 lbs and was 23 inches long. I have now busted out TWO bottom teeth and I'm getting really good at sitting up on my own! I am obsessed with my puppy, Bugatti, he makes me laugh histerically! I love stroller rides, lots of attention, getting my picture taken ;o) and baths! Recently, I decided that I'm not a fan of carseat or car-rides. Actually, i hate them, i scream... at the top of my lungs - it's pretty awesome. I'm having lots of fun being a baby, my personality is starting to come out. I'm a mix of sweet snuggler, crazy monster and silly monkey.

Charlee Rae at Grandma Shells!

We were at Grandma Shell's all weekend! Friday night we met up with Tricia, an old coworker/friend from Janesville - we had a nice visit and she got to meet Charlee for the first time :o) Saturday we went to meet with another old coworker/friend at Palmer Park and take pictures of her 2 year old son, Braden. Charlee was my assistant and did a great job at blowing bubbles and staring at the trees! We even took a walk in the afternoon and stopped at the park where she swang in a big girl swing - she was a little small for it, but instantly grabbed on to the sides and smiled - LOVED IT! Overall, we had a busy busy weekend.

We all had a long fun-filled weekend! Friday, Charlee and I met up with a friend and took pics of our girls at the dog park! It was perfect weather and Charlee played dress up so well! Her cheeks are out of control! Saturday, Brady and I had a wedding in Madison at Samba, so Charlee stayed the night with Mimi and Baba. We spent a lot of time at Grandma Shell's on Sunday and played with the pups, ate cheesecake, watched Sopranos (the usual ;o)) Overall, a great weekend; i love my family!

PS. the greatest part of Charlee's pictures is when i zoom in really close, i can see under her neck where lint/drool/formula have wedged itself in the creases... it's awesome... i happen to think it's hilarious. And yes, she gets a bath every. night. so it's not like i have a dirty baby :o)

5 months old! Charlee has a TOOTH!

i can't get a picture of it... she puts her tongue over it if i try... but it's official, my princess has a TOOTH! I can't believe it :o)

Memorial Day Weekend 2010

Memorial Day weekend was crazy busy! Friday night, me and Charlee went to Joe's house to spend some quality time with some of our favorite crazy Aunts! (Carrie, Jill and Meredith) we cooked out, played with the puppy, ate a ton of taco dip and talked baby-talk. Once Charlee went to bed I gave 'grandma-shell' a drunken-pedicure... she was drunk, not me. Saturday Charlee and I went and ran some errands waiting for dad to come to town with Bugatti. I ended up heading to the Airshow with Jill and Brady met us there in the afternoon while Cbear spent some time with Grandma Shell. We later went home and got cleaned up and went to dinner at Hfrghs; then we snatched up Charlee and went to the Wixoms until it was Charlee's bedtime! Sunday we decided to get ice cream and go to Rotary Gardens and see Nana and Papa's bench. It was a gorgeous day, but VERY hot! Dad left for band practice and me and CHarlee hung out with Grandma-Shell and Poppy - went went to Evansville to fly Poppy's plane then headed home later and had a glass of wine to wind down :o) Sunday morning we went to visit Lindsay and baby Brecken in their new townhouse! Then met up with Dad and went to the Wixoms for some good food, friends, family and kiddie fun!
