Puppy Park!

Monday was a gorgeous day -- we took Bugatti to the dog park! Charlee had a good time, she was a great baby :o) we got some action shots of Bugatti catching his tennis ball. And yes, i'm fully aware that Charlee's outfit is crazy-mismatched-stripes, but I love the eclectic look ;o)

She scratched herself pretty hard in her sleep (on her cheek), but we think it makes her look tough so she can go to daycare and the kids don't mess with her!


Also, the tie-dye she's wearing was done by ME! She's gotten in a phase where she likes to make noises with her mouth and stick out her tongue, see below... (and i just realized that she's flipping me off!)

Weekends with C-bear!

4-5 times a day...

4-5 times a day... you wonder? what could i be!? well, that is how many times Charlee poops :o) Her daycare seems to find it "unusual" however; i feel that it's one of the only things she knows how to do right now, so I (too) will let it slide ;o)

I'm just glad her plumbing is working!

So here's a picture from my phone last night -- she was watching me wash her bottles - I let her be naked as much as possible to air out her tiny-lady-bits... I saw that there was a wet spot and went to pick her up and get a new towel and dry her off, but to my surprise it was yet another poop (that makes SIX) total for yesterday, a new record! I included a "modesty patch" so i wasn't overexposing the poor girl :o) TGIF!

Suit and matching hat!

Thanks to Auntie Katie, we have a cute little swimming suit/hat ensemble that almost fits Miss Charlee; I bet by summer it will be perfect! Katie's little girl Sydney is already in 4T clothes -- she remembers Sydney in this very outfit - they grow so fast! This was taken on my cell phone so that explains the poor quality and small size :o) love to all!

Weekends :o)

I did some shopping this weekend and my favorite finds were baby headbands and a hat for Charlee. She actually didn't mind having them on either! She looks totally hippie-chic in her headband and of course baby headbands are extremely necessary when keeping her long hair out of her face (wink wink) yah right, it's just for mom's entertainment... whatever :o)

Also, this first picture cracks me up -- Brady and Charlee were playing on the floor and Bugatti of course gets a bit jealous at times and loves the baby talk so he walked up to Charlee and licked her whole face, just one HUGE slobbery dog tongue... she obviously wasn't ready for that! He looks like he's up to no good - we should have known.

15 weeks

Miss Charlee is 15 weeks already! This morning i was VERY quiet when going into her bedroom (my clothes are in there) i didn't want to wake her so of course, i kept the lights out (probably why I never match!) and noticed that as i was getting dresses she was wide awake, just hanging out in her crib, putting her shirt in her mouth, legs straight up in the air, eyes wide open... she's such an angel :o) And I love her bedhead-and the look she's giving me like, "seriously!? it's 5:45am... no pictures please!"

Busy weekend! We had cousin Collin's FIRST bday party on Saturday and before the party, Gabby and Maddie came over to get their pictures taken - this was test shot with Brady and Charlee, but it turned out really cute!

4 am wake up call with Charlee Rae!

ahhh, 4 am! Fun times! I am actually mini-thrilled because Charlee fell asleep last night at 7:30 and slept til about 4am! that's great for her... not so great for mommy :o/ She decided after her bottle that it was time to rock-n-roll, so the only thing that made this wake-up call exciting was... to take pictures, duh!
Her pjs are horse-pjs - of course from her Mimi, along with our duvet cover (thank you!!!!) and the stuffed animal is from Auntie Brianne! She's also wearing her "Pretend you're sleeping Auntie Carrie is here" onesie underneath her jammies :o)

14 weeks

Miss Charlee is 14 weeks! She has a new thing where she puts her right arm behind her head a lot... while she's standing, lying down, sitting etc... it must be her new pose :o) Her flower headband is a Target Dollar section find and her cute headband is from her Auntie Laura!

A mother-daughter moment :o)

Monday morning was just like every other morning; my usual routine is to hang out with Charlee on the living room floor before I head out for work. During this time we usually will read a book, look at the ceiling fan, watch the tv, giggle, get dressed, smile, talk etc… and as usual, everything is followed up with tickles and kisses.
On this particular morning, Charlee hadn’t eaten yet… I leaned in to give her juicy cheek a kiss and right as I got my lips to it, she turned her face and open-mouth kissed me (must have been looking for a bottle?) :o) It was quite a lovely mother-daughter moment. I didn’t really know what to do, so I laughed and she laughed back at me. It was one of my first funny moments with her, so I thought I would share. Love to all! And I’m attaching a picture of Charlee with her Auntie Katie when she was 1 week old! How time flies!

Charlee's First Easter!

What a great first Easter! Charlee got to hang out with her Mimi, Baba, Nana, cousin Collin, Uncle B, Uncle Casey and Aunt Stacey! The morning started at about 6am... we slowly got ready for the day in our Easter Attire - Charlee wore a dress with a pink cardigan and a pink headband :o) She was PERFECT at church. She sat at looked at the stained-glass windows and the ceiling fans (her favorite) about 20 minutes into the service she got a little fussy (because she was tired) so dad and mom took her in back and rocked her until she past out cold for the rest of the service. She made us very proud. Then we ventured back to Ray & Jeans where she wasn't really wanting to nap because all the excitement and people were WAy more entertaining. For dinner, Ray sat with Collin on his left knee and CHarlee on his right to take some pictures, then STacey took Collin and had the kids facing each other... Collin made Charlee laugh-out-loud and the kids just sat and chuckled at each other. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen! Where is the video camera when you need it!?! It's those moments that make life so wonderful - we love our family so much and we are so proud to have everyone in our lives.

Life is full of ups and downs, but when you're surrounding by loving family, it makes everything so much better. I'm so blessed to have a loving husband and beautiful, sweet daughter - i couldn't be happier. Love to all.
